Export Of Agricultural Products Up By 14 Percent

Tehran, May 27, IRNA – Some 3.2 million tons of agricultural products, worth dlrs 4.2 billion, were exported during the last year (ended March 20, 2013), an official at Iranˈs Trade Development Organization (TDO) said here Monday. Speaking to IRNA, TDOˈs deputy director general Kioumars Fathollah Kermanshahi said the figure showed 14 percent growth in term of value and 24 percent increase in term of weight compared to its previous year.
