20th Intˈl Youth Visual Arts Festival Planned

Gorgan, Golestan province, June 11, IRNA – The 20th International Youth Visual Arts Festival will be held in nine categories from August 23-30, said secretary of the festival Monday. Gholamreza Montazeri, also head of provincial Culture and Islamic Guidance Organization, told a coordination session of the festival in Ali Abad-e Katoul that 300 Iranian artists will create works in the workshops focusing on photography, graphic designing, poster designing, caricature, calligraphy and illustration during the festival. The number of foreign participants has yet to be made clear, he said, noting that holding the festival in Ali Abad-e Katoul will create an opportunity for introducing potentials of the city which has a population 132,000 and is located 40 kilometers east of Gorgan, capital of Golestan province.
