Ayatollah Araki: Syria, Winner Of Current Developments

Tehran, Sept 8, IRNA - Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki said Sunday the Syrian nation is the winner of the current developments in the country. Speaking to IRNA, Araki stressed that fanning the flames of ethnic and religious disputes among the regional countries is aimed at protecting the Zionist regime. He noted that the Islamic awakening and recent movements in regional countries are considered as a big danger for the Zionist regime. Sowing sectarian discord and creating disputes among the regional nations would all benefit Tel Aviv, the cleric reiterated./end
