Zarif: We Had Progress, Thereˈs Hope for Agreement

Geneva, Nov 10, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif underlined here that there has been some progress in the talks and there is hope to achieve an agreement.
He made the remarks in a press conference here, after three-day intensive, hard and serious talks between Iran and Group 5+1.
On a question about future of talks between Iran and Group 5+1, Zarif said that there might be differences in viewpoints of the six states, but we are all working on them and we hope to achieve an agreement when we see each other again.
He said, ˈWe had progress and we hope to have more progress and Iran is hopeful for a final agreement in the next round of talks.ˈ
On a question about France role, Zarif said,ˈ I agree with Mrs. Ashton and we expect that each of the members of the talks has their own viewpoints.ˈ
Zarif continued, ˈNaturally, when we start discussion on details, there will be some differences.ˈ
He added,ˈ I am not hopeless because our meeting took more than two hours and it was a good meeting,ˈ
Iran’s senior nuclear negotiator stressed that there are political intention and goodwill to end this phase which are important and we have the intention to move forward in the next round of talks./end
