FM MEETS LITHUANIAN PARLIAMENT DEPUTY SPEAKER

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During his official visit to Lithuania, the Foreign Minister L.Bold Tuesday met the First Deputy Speaker of the Seimas (parliament) Vydas Gedvilas. The sides shared views on cooperation between parliaments of the two countries. Mr Bold requested the Lithuanian part--a member of the European Union (EU)--to prompt the completion of home-base procedures in order to put into force the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Mongolia and EU. The same day, Mr Bold met with Chancellor of the Government Alminas Maciulis and Vice-Minister of Economy Kestutis Treciokas. During the meetings, the Lithuanians expressed a willingness to boost business and economic ties with Mongolia.
