Thailand Post launches Easy Pack parcel delivery service

BANGKOK, February 21 (TNA) - Thailand Post has announced that the company will, next month, introduce its Easy Pack parcel delivery service at 49 branches of 7-Eleven shops in Bangkok and nearby provinces. Thailand Post President Anusara Jitmitrapharb told journalists on Friday that her compamy will launch the new service on March 24, 2014 to, particularly, serve demand of growing e-commerce businesses in the country. Anusara noted that delivery fees of the new service are based on the sizes of parcels, instead of their weights. Anusara also assessed that Thailand Post should generate an extra income of 300-400 million baht this year from postcards local people would send to the headquarters of the Thai Rath Newspaper to guess final results of the World Cup 2014 and to vie for prizes.
