Zionist Conspiracies To Isolate Iran, Failed: Analyst
Islamabad, March 3, IRNA -- A senior Pakistani defence analyst on Sunday said that Iran is an important country of the world and conspiracies of Zionist regime to isolate the Islamic Republic have been failed.
Talking to IRNA, Maj Gen (Retd) Jamshed Ayaz Khan said that Iran is a major Muslim power and plays a key role in international politics.
Expressing his views, the analyst said that credit of Iranˈs progress goes to the founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini as he had shown the right path to his nations.
“Since the success of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has been pursuing an independent foreign policy,” he said.
The analyst strongly believed that Iran is a peaceful country and cannot be isolated.
He said that as a major country of the world, Iran can play a major role in uniting the Muslims across the globe.
“Iran should lead the Muslim Ummah,” said the expert.
The intellectual was of the opinion that the Islamic Republic holds a key position in the region and permanent solution to the issues of area cannot be found without Iran’s support.
“I wrote an article many years back where I stressed that Iran and Pakistan should dominate the Indian Ocean,” he said.
The expert on international affairs said that Iran and Pakistan with their joint efforts could make the region invincible.
Responding to question, the analyst said that definitely conspiracies of the Zionist regime to isolate Iran have failed.
Maj Gen (Retd) Jamshed Ayaz said that Zionist regime would cease to exist as the states artificially created cannot exist for longer period.
He added that Iran has become an excellent example of resistance.
“Iran is progressing in all sectors despite the western sanctions imposed against the country,” noted the expert.
Jamshed Ayaz Khan retired as a Major General in 2001 after serving for approximately 39 years in the Army. Khan works as a senior advisor at Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS) in Islamabad./end
