MONGOLIA ESTABLISHES DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS WITH REPUBLIC OF CHAD

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Chad on April 3 in New-York, the USA. The event ran in frames of Mongolia's aim to establish such ties with all member-countries of the UN. The sides have agreed to boost and strengthen the bilateral friendly relations and cooperation as a key guide and to adhere to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the UN Charter, and international legal principles and standards. The official joint statement on the diplomatic relations was inked by the Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the UN and Ambassador O.Och and by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Chad to the UN and Ambassador Cherif Mahamat Zene. After this, the statement was registered in the UN. The two countries will now assist each other and run a fruitful cooperation in frames of bilateral and international organizations and will intensify a collaboration with the land-locked countries.
