Iran, Malaysia Enjoy Significant Scientific Ties: Envoy

Zanjan, May 18, IRNA - Malaysian Ambassador to Tehran Raja Nour Shirvan here on Sunday described the level of scientific relations between the two counties as significant. Talking to IRNA, he made the remarks on the sideline of the 9th National Festival of local types of potage opened in this northwestern city on Friday. At present, some 80 percent of foreign students that are educating in Malaysia are Iranians, he added. The envoy stressed that the two countries enjoy great potentials in trade, economic and political arenas. Special kinds of stew and potage belonging to the Iranian cuisine are called ˈAashˈ and cooked with particular ingredients in different parts of the country. The festival will continue till May 20./end
