WHAT WILL AUTUMN SESSION DISCUSS?

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Speaker of parliament Z.Enkhbold Monday issued an order on setting a sequence of agenda to be discussed at the autumn session of the State Great Khural. They are a draft law on ratifying a Mongolia-USA agreement on ensuring the transparency of international trade and investment; a draft resolution of parliament on some measures for ensuring the implementation of state policy on railway transportation; an issue of discharging some members of the cabinet; a draft resolution of parliament on approving a state policy on auto transportation sector; bills on fire safety, on the 2015 budget, on the 2015 budget for human development fund (HDF) and on the 2015 budget for social insurance fund. The autumn session will also consider a draft resolution of parliament on approving basic guidelines for 2015 on the state fiscal policy; a draft law on trade; a draft new wording of the law on tax; bills on the pledge of movable and intangible properties, on state registration of legal subjects, on crime, on conflict, on combating family violence, and on Mongolian language. The next group of agenda will be a draft resolution of parliament on re-approving the state policy on education; a draft amendment to the law on the rule of maintaining the law on banning mineral exploration and exploitation near water sources, forests and protected areas; bills on monitoring, on the general law of Mongolia, on political party and financing of political parties; a draft resolution of parliament on approving a long-term policy document for Mongolia’s development; a draft amendment to the law on minerals; and others. The Speaker also obliged heads of Standing committees and B.Boldbaatar, a head of the Parliamentary Office, to ensure a full preparation for the discussions.
