Gas Condensate Exports Up 85 Percent

Tehran, Oct 1, IRNA – Exports of Iran's natural gas condensate in the first half of the current calendar year (started March 21) showed a 85 percent growth reaching over six billion dollars, it was reported on Wednesday. According to latest figures released by the Customs Office, some 9,233,000 tons of gas condensate were exported in the said period showing 84.97 percent growth in terms of weight and 80.57 percent increase in terms of value. The figures showed major exported items were 1.8 billion dollars of propane, 817 million dollars of methanol and 730 million dollars of butane. Also 8,553,000 tons of petrochem products worth 6.721 billion dollars were exported in the first half of the current year.
