Malaysian Fruit Fiesta In The Netherlands

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 18 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Agriculture Representative Office at The Hague organised a Malaysian Fruit Fiesta for the first time in the Netherlands on Oct 24-25, to promote locally grown fruits. Agriculture attache Ahmadul Mokhtar Mohd Hayani said the fiesta was aimed at opening avenues for Malaysian companies to penetrate the market in the Netherlands and Europe. He said the endeavour also gave Malaysian companies the opportunity to assess the buying power of the target groups. "More than 700 local companies have given positive feedback. Some have requested that the fiesta be held more often at different locations," he told Bernama on Monday. Ahmadul Mokhtar said the fiesta held at Wah Nam Hong Cash & Carry Forepark, The Hague was organised with the cooperation of FAMA, DRS Trading Sdn Bhd, EMA’S Holland BV and Wah Nam Hong International BV. --BERNAMA
