Official website launched for female workforce

BANGKOK, March 9 (TNA) - The Thai government, through the Ministry of Labour, has launched a special website as a complete database for female workforce nationwide to access to develop their potential in key areas. Thai Labour Minister General Surasak Karnchanarat presided over a ceremony to launch the official website, www.womenwill.mol.go.th, under a project called "smart women, tough jobs, good skills and happiness through online world", jointly run by the Ministry of Labour, the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) and world Internet giant Google. The website becomes a source of information for women workers nationwide to develop their English proficiency, working skills and legal knowledge both employers and employees should know, as well as information on social security fund (SSF), social security benefits, job opportunities and how to keep good health at work places and how to properly breast feed their children.
