Rouhani felicitates Turkmenistan’s independence day

TEHRAN, Oct. 25 (MNA) – Iran’s President Rouhani has congratulated the Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow as well as the nation on the anniversary of their country’s independence. In a message to Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow on Sunday, President Rouhani congratulated the post-Soviet government and nation on the anniversary of independence expressing hope for the expansion of the long-lasting relations between the two countries in all fields. The message reads: In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful Mr Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, President of Turkmenistan, I warmly congratulate you, your government, and the people of your country on the Independence Day. I hope we can develop close and amicable ties between the Iran and Turkmenistan with regard to historical and cultural links of the two nations based on mutual cooperation.
