Azerbaijani weightlifters win two golds at European youth championships

Two Azerbaijani weightlifters have claimed gold medals at the European Youth Championships in the Polish town of Nowy Tomysl. Sabina Azimova climbed onto the winner`s rostrum in the women`s 48kg weight category after lifting 65kg in the snatch and 87kg in the clean and jerk to score 152kg in total. Fuqan Aliyev grabbed gold in the men`s 62kg division after scoring a total of 235kg, with a lift of 105kg in the snatch and 135kg in the clean and jerk.
