Charity runners arrive in Bangkok

BANGKOK, Dec 3 (TNA) - Traffic police are prepared for the arrival of rocker Artiwara Kongmalai, or Toon Bodyslam’ in the capital this afternoon. Toon, who is now running for charity to help 11 hospitals, is scheduled to arrive in Bangkok outskirts on Phutthamonthon Sai 4 Road at about 3.00 p.m. About 200 runners join him in the running towards Bangkok. He will stop at the army's Phramongkutklao Hospital and ends today’s trip at King Power complex, the duty free mall in Soi Rangnam. Toon will rest for one day tomorrow before start running again on Tuesday, heading for Suphan Buri province. To date, people have donated about 400 million baht as he completed more than 1,200 kilometres of his planned route from the southernmost province of Yala to the northernmost province of Chiang Rai.
