Thailand, Japan opens Industrial Transformation Center

BANGKOK, May 12 (TNA) - Thailand opens Industrial Transformation Center (ITC) sponsored by Japan to support Thai small- and medium enterprises (SMEs). The ITC located inside the Industrial Promotion Department in Bangkok is the first among others to be opened in other 76 provinces in Thailand. Industry Minister Uttama Saonayon and Japanese Ambassador Shiro Sadoshima presided over the opening ceremony on Friday. ITC could help Thai SME to learn and adapt to new technologies in the digital age. Bangkok’s ITC houses showcase facility simulating manufacturing systems, packed with advanced technologies of top Japanese manufacturers. (TNA)
