Iran fighting drug trafficking on behalf of world

Tehran, July 25, IRNA – Despite the fact that Iran on behalf of the world is fighting drug trafficking, none of the international bodies and the European countries have been committed to the responsibilities, Iran's Interior Minister said Addressing a meeting attended by the Iranian representatives in foreign countries, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli stressed that narcotics turnover is $60b in Europe. Referring to Europeans’ claim on implementing anti-money laundering rule, he said why aren’t they releasing the least information on fighting narcotics turnover and money laundering. Rahmani Fazli expressed happiness over internal security of Iran, and said it is necessary to take action in view of international and regional efforts to put pressure on Iran and also some military acts, including skirmishes of outlaws at borders. Elsewhere in his remarks, Rahmani Fazli called for facilitating cooperation in economic, cultural and political fields.
