Thailand Lighting Fair 2018 set Nov 8-10

BANGKOK, November 8 (TNA) - A grand lighting exposition is being held in Bangkok during November 8-10 when international visitors are welcome to observe comprehensive lighting innovations, models of smart buildings and efficient energy management, paving the way for Thailand to become a regional hub of innovative lighting and energy conservation events in the foreseeable future. Opening the Thailand Lighting Fair 2018, themed the “future of light– smart, sustainable, human-centric”, at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) on Thursday, Sermsuk Klaikaew (เสริมสกุล คล้ายแก้ว), Governor of the state-run Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), said that PEA, in cooperation with Germany-based Messe Frankfurt, a world largest trade fair and event organizer, is organizing the three-day fair on the latest international lighting technologies and innovations, the 4th consecutive year of its kind and a most comprehensive one having been held in the ASEAN Community (AC). "International visitors, expected to reach over 15,000 totally, are welcome to observe innovative lighting products of about 150 companies from more than 10 countries showcased on a vast space of more than 8,500 square meters at BITEC, where the Thailand Building Fair is being organized concurrently", the PEA governor announced. The PEA governor stated that latest lighting technologies and innovations, as well as relevant applications on smart phones that can meet the demand of modern people who want to save more times and costs, while also conserving the environment, like the solar rooftop system and those applied to electric vehicles, are also on display at the ongoing fair. Besides, a seminar where international visitors can learn on latest knowledge and power technologies and innovations that save the energy and can be applied to the household, business and transportation sectors is also organized as part of the three-day fair.
