Russia waits for Israel election to clarify Palestine-Israel conflict situation - diplomat

MOSCOW, July 16./TASS/. Russia is waiting for the parliamentary election in Israel to clarify the situation with the Palestinian-Israeli conflict settlement, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told journalists on Tuesday. "The situation in Israel itself is not an easy one, as it is once again facing the [parliamentary] election scheduled for mid-September," said Bogdanov, who is also the special presidential envoy for the Middle East and Africa. "Time is needed to prepare this election, to hold it. Then a new government will be formed. That is why, this situation makes us wait until the situation becomes clear in Israel itself," the diplomat said, referring to the process of the Palestinian-Israeli settlement. Read more
