UK Prime Minister Visits SABIC

Riyadh, March 17, 2022, SPA -- Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson Wednesday visited SABIC Plastic Applications Development Center (SPADC) in Riyadh, as part of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was accompanied by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy; Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban (the accompanying minister). The British Prime Minister inspected the center's state-of-the-art facilities, which reflect SABIC's global position and its pioneering role in innovation. SABIC Chairman Eng. Khalid bin Hashim Al-Dabbagh welcomed the British Prime Minister and briefed him on the high-tech facilities, including carbon dioxide capture and purification plant model, pioneering innovations in transportation, healthcare, building and construction, and a live 3D printing experience. He expressed his pride in the depth of relations with the business sector in the United Kingdom. UK Minister of Investment Lord Grimstone, and UK's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Neil Crompton accompanied the Prime Minister during the visit. --SPA
