Repeated failures of Tel Aviv

Tehran, IRNA – The resistance groups has changed the balance in the region so that the Zionist regime is no more able to impose its will to the countries and resistance groups in the region. Occupied Palestine experienced a fresh confrontation between military forces of the Zionist regime and the Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ) in August 5-8, 2022 which came to an end after mediation efforts by Egypt and Qatar to broker a ceasefire with the conditions set by the movement. During these conflicts, at least 45 people, including 15 children and two women, were killed and over 360, including 96 children, 30 women and 12 old people, were injured. In response to a letter from the PIJ leader Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei highlighted the independent entrance of the movement to the conflict scene as a distinct feature of this round of conflicts. During the past 74 years, about 10 fight groups have been formed in Palestine, some of which have turned to political activism after years of armed fighting. However, other groups continue to fight to end the occupation, liberate Palestine, and bring displaced Palestinians back to their home. The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP-GC), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) are among active groups that are still fighting against the Zionist regime. This is the first time in the history of conflicts and wars between the Zionist regime and the Palestinians where a resistance group has entered an armed conflict with the regime and has been able to impose its conditions to end the conflict. Previously, the Zionist regime had always the upper hand and used to define the conditions to stop the conflict by occupying new lands, but this time the situation was different. Tel Aviv has been busy with selling its failure to the global public opinion as a victory through articles in Western think-tanks and suggesting a disagreement between Palestinian resistance groups in entering the recent conflict. However, all of this is due to the weakness of the Zionist regime, as its public opinion has come to know the liar officials of the regime. The Zionist regime has been sieged by resistance groups in both internal and external fronts today and this is an unprecedented situation since the occupation of Palestine, while the regime has had the upper hand in the last decades due to the support from the West, the US in particular. However, the Zionist regime has been surrounded by the resistance groups inside the occupied lands despite the concrete walls and barbed wires stretched around it. The Zionist regime now has to consider the power of these groups, as the regime has even been sieged from outside Palestine by the groups in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. The Zionist regime’s equations cannot lead to the desired goals like they used to in the past, which can be clearly seen in the recent developments surrounding Karish gas field where the Zionist regime proved unable against Lebanon’s Hezbollah. Moreover, the whole territory of the Zionist regime is within reach of the resistance’s missiles and the regime is unable to defend the occupied lands despite huge costs for the deployment of the Iron Dome. If other groups join the PIJ, the situation would be even harder for the Zionist regime even to the brink of collapse. The officials of the Zionist regime know well today that the resistance groups are not the ones to politically brag like Arab governments in the region, because they do what they say and their pragmatism lay exactly on the opposite of the political bluffs of Arab governments. The existing resistance groups in Palestine have leaders who are smart, sincere, determined, and despaired of political processes ever reaching a conclusion and are equipped with up-to-date military technology. They unveil new weapons in any conflict that even the enemy is unaware. In conclusion, the situation has changed in the new century and the Zionist regime cannot dictate its will to the countries and resistance groups in the region and it would be even more fragile if other resistance groups joint the Islamic Jihad Movement.
