Iran freestyle wrestling team runners-up in World Cup

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian freestyle wrestling team was defeated by the United States and ranked second in the World Cup which was held in Coralville, US. Iran was overpowered by the US 6-4 and ranked second. Jordan Burroughs failure against Ali Savadkoohi was his first defeat against an Iranian wrestler. Accordingly, the first, second, and third teams will be granted 70,000; 20,000; and 10,000 Swiss Francs.
