The exhibition showcases more than 200 traditional instruments such as drums, the two-stringed fiddle, the monochord, and the 16-string zither. 

It also includes documents and images, introducing the musical instruments of various Vietnamese ethnic groups, as well as the artisans and artists, who perform with these traditional instruments.

The exhibits were displayed according to different forms of art, including Cheo (Vietnamese opera), xam singing, and the Don ca tai tu (southern amateur music).

The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Museum has been innovating its exhibitions with creative new approaches. Such efforts have been gradually renewing the museum’s activities and helping attract more visitors.

The exhibition runs until June 17 and promises to be a destination for visitors, to experience and interact with traditional musical instruments, contributing to the preservation and promotion of Vietnam’s cultural heritage./.
