Youth Minister visits Emirati youth institutions

Abu Dhabi, June 4 (BNA): Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, toured several leading Emirati youth institutions to explore successful models of youth empowerment and strengthen bilateral cooperation in this vital sector, during an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
The visit included stops at the Federal Youth Authority, the Arab Youth Centre, and other key initiatives such as the “Youth Spaces” project and the “Emirati District” at Dubai International Airport, an innovative platform for youth entrepreneurship and cultural expression. The minister was also briefed on the work of the Fikr Institute, which focuses on leadership development and policy dialogue among young people.
The tour highlighted the UAE’s integrated approach to youth development through high-quality services, inclusive platforms, and strategic investment in innovation and entrepreneurship. Tawfiqi praised the UAE’s progress and affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to advancing joint initiatives that empower youth and prepare them for future challenges.
On the sidelines of the visit, Minister Tawfiqi took part in a youth dialogue session titled “Emirati-Bahraini Youth and Shaping the Future”, alongside Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Shaikh Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Deputy Bahraini Ambassador to the UAE. Discussions focused on joint efforts to support youth innovation, future skills development, and deepening Gulf cooperation in the youth sector.
