Bahrain's Permanent Representative to UN Office in Geneva chairs fifth meeting of Arab Ambassadors Council

Geneva, July 12 (BNA): Abdulla Abdulatif Abdulla, Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other international organisations in Geneva, chaired the fifth meeting of the Arab Ambassadors Council, held at the Permanent Mission of the League of Arab States in Geneva.
During the meeting, Shaikha Al Nowais delivered a briefing to the Arab group following her appointment as Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation. She outlined the organisation’s priorities for the coming phase and her plans to strengthen its role.
She also emphasised the importance of Arab cooperation and coordination in the tourism sector and called for setting shared goals to promote the region’s tourism potential on the international stage.
