KSrelief Masam Project Clears 1,171 Explosives in Yemen in One Week

Aden, July 15, 2025, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Masam Project removed 1,171 explosives across various regions of Yemen during the second week of July. The cleared explosives included one anti-personnel mine, 46 anti-tank mines, and 1,124 unexploded ordnances (UXOs).
These efforts bring the total number of explosives cleared since the start of the Masam Project to 505,466. These explosives were randomly planted throughout Yemeni territory, endangering innocent civilians, including children, women, and older people, and sowing fear in once-safe communities.
Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, continues its mission to rid Yemeni land of explosives as part of its broader effort to protect civilians and enable the Yemeni people to live safely and with dignity.
