Najran's Parks: Premier Destinations Defined by Unique Natural Beauty

Najran, July 16, 2025, SPA -- Najran Region's parks are prominent tourist destinations, attracting residents and visitors alike. Renowned for their environmental diversity and unique features, these parks reflect the beauty of nature, making them favored spots for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility.
The region boasts stunning natural landscapes, including towering mountains, expansive plains, and picturesque valleys. King Fahd Park in Saqam Forest, one of the largest natural parks in the Kingdom, symbolizes the region's natural attractions. It is a preferred destination due to its towering trees, lush lawns, and various recreational activities.
Similarly, Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz Park in Aba Rashash offers unique attractions, including a shopping tent, competitions, and a theater for children. The northern governorates, particularly Badr Al-Janoub, also see significant visitor traffic to their natural parks.
The valleys and parks located in the northwestern mountains of Najran city attract picnickers with their scenic beauty and clean air. They offer opportunities for climbing, long-distance hiking, and observing the area's unique mountain formations adorned with sidr and Acacia ehrenbergiana (locally known as "salam") trees.
Recently, the Najran Municipality enhanced the region's parks and gardens. This included maintaining green spaces covering 660 square meters, pruning and landscaping 4,600 trees, and servicing 250 square meters of playgrounds and sports fields. Additional efforts focused on repairing pavements, maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, and servicing fountains and waterfalls in public areas.
