Syrian Foreign Minister meets heads of Arab diplomatic missions in Moscow

Moscow, Aug. 2 (BNA):  saad Al Shibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Syria, met with the heads of Arab diplomatic missions in the Russian Federation during his visit to Moscow.

The meeting was chaired by Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Russia and Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Moscow.

Minister Al Shibani briefed the Arab ambassadors on the outcomes of his meetings with His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, and senior officials, which focused on bilateral relations and political developments in Syria and the region.

He commended the support extended by Arab countries to Syria since the new leadership assumed office, particularly in efforts to preserve Syria’s territorial unity, restore security and stability, and revitalise the economy in the interest of the Syrian people.
