Bahrain Space Agency takes part in ATLAC lunar activities consultation meeting

Manama, Aug. 2 (BNA): The Bahrain Space Agency participated in the meeting of the Action Team on Lunar Activities Consultation (ATLAC), an international group overseen by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) that coordinates global efforts related to lunar exploration.
The agency was represented by Dr. Mohamed Al Othman, Ali Al Mahmood, and Hala Ibrahim.

The meeting included a review of the upcoming priorities for lunar exploration and provided member states with the opportunity to offer feedback and input in a step towards reaching international consensus on these priorities.
The Bahrain Space Agency’s participation reflects its commitment to contributing actively to shaping global policies on lunar exploration and enhancing the Kingdom’s presence as a reliable international partner in advancing peaceful and well regulated outer space initiatives.
