The Minister of Defense Discusses Military and Training Cooperation and Joint Efforts to Combat Terrorism With the French Ambassador

Baghdad /NINA/ -Defense Minister Thabet Mohammed Saeed Al-Abbasi discussed joint efforts to combat terrorism with the French Ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Dorrell.

The Ministry stated in a statement: "The Minister of Defense received the French Ambassador. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Iraq and France, ways to enhance military and training cooperation, and joint efforts to combat terrorism and support stability in the region."

The Minister of Defense affirmed Iraq's keenness to develop the partnership with France, which would contribute to strengthening the capabilities of the Iraqi armed forces and exchanging expertise in defense fields.
