International Dates Council Debuts at Marseille International Fair

   Marseille, September 28, 2025, SPA -- The International Dates Council, in partnership with the Arab Federation for Dates, is participating for the first time in the Marseille International Fair, held from September 26 to October 6 in southern France.
   During her tour of the event, Executive Director of the International Date Council Princess Sarah bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz reviewed the council’s initiatives to enhance the global presence of dates, develop value chains, and achieve agricultural sustainability.
   In his remarks, Arab Federation for Dates Secretary-General Dr. Ashraf Al-Far emphasized Princess Sarah's recent decision to bolster the Arab date sector by enhancing its visual identity and social responsibility in Europe. He noted that this participation played a key role in promoting dates to a broad international audience, reinforcing their image as a culturally rich and healthy product with strong potential for global competitiveness.
   The Marseille International Fair is one of the most prominent commercial and cultural events in France. It attracts visitors and exhibitors from around the world each year to showcase products and foster opportunities for global cooperation and partnerships.
