According to the ministry, representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, the Prosecutor General's Office, as well as experts from the Institute for Rulemaking and the Rule of Law, participated in the meeting.

The main tasks of the working group are:

- systematic collection and analysis of information on legal issues identified in judicial and prosecutorial practice;

- development of proposals to eliminate conflicts, gaps, contradictions, and corruption-prone provisions in legislation;

- preparation of final recommendations for subsequent submission to the competent government agencies.

At the meeting, the rules of procedure for the interdepartmental working group were approved and the first package of legislative initiatives aimed at improving legal regulation was presented.

The creation of an interdepartmental working group is an important step in the development of the national legal system and, for the first time since independence, introduces an institutional mechanism for direct communication between the law enforcement practices of the courts and the prosecutor's office and the process of improving legislation.
