Stamp Exhibition Opens
Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- A stamp exhibition opened with due ceremony at the Korean Stamps Museum on Friday to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
On display at the exhibition held under the theme "Journey of Victory and Glory" are stamps of over 600 kinds dealing with the 80-year-long history of the great WPK and other stamps presented by philatelists in Pyongyang.
The stamps "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Looking at the Party Flag" and "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il Making a Conclusion at the Third Conference of Ideological Workers of the Workers' Party of Korea" reflect the immortal Party building exploits of the peerlessly great men who strengthened and developed the WPK into the strong guiding force that leads the socialist cause to the road of victory and the genuine motherly Party that takes full responsibility for the destiny of the people and takes care of them.
The stamps "The Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Making a Report at the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea" and "The Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Participating in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Regional-industry Factories in Songchon County and Making a Historic Speech" deal with the immortal feats of Kim Jong Un who is ushering in the new era of shining changes for the pure succession and development of the WPK, the comprehensive rejuvenation of the state and the well-being of the people.
Displayed at the venue of the exhibition are also the stamps showing the successes registered in various fields in the annals of the revolution under the leadership of the Party and other stamps of various themes presented by philatelists in Pyongyang.
Present at the opening ceremony were Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned and philatelists in Pyongyang.
After the opening ceremony was over, the participants went round the venue of exhibition. -0-
