Saudi Arabia Condemns Attack on Displaced Persons' Shelter in El-Fasher, Sudan

Riyadh, October 12, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation and denunciation of the heinous attack that targeted a shelter for displaced persons in El-Fasher, reiterating its rejection of violence against civilians.
   In a statement, the Kingdom stressed the need for an immediate cessation of the war in Sudan, the preservation of its unity and institutions, and the avoidance of further suffering and destruction for the brotherly Sudanese people. It also underscored the importance of protecting civilians and implementing the commitments outlined in the Jeddah Declaration of Commitment to Protect the Civilians of Sudan, signed on May 11, 2023.
   The Kingdom extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
