DPRK Weightlifters Come Back Home

Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- DPRK players came back home on Saturday after taking part in the 2025 International Weightlifting Federation World Championships.
At the championships, DPRK players bagged 17 gold medals, 5 silver medals and a bronze medal, 23 medals in total, and set 10 new world records.
They were warmly greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by officials concerned, officials in the field of sports and their families.
Sportspersons put garlands around the necks of the players and coaches and gave bouquets to them, congratulating them on their successes. -0-
