Kyrgyz healthcare funding to reach 130 billion soms by 2030

Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev took part in the opening ceremony of new children's building at the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital in Bishkek and announced key indicators for the growth of healthcare investment.

In 2025, state finance over 3,000 facilities, 32 of which are medical facilities.
The healthcare budget has more than doubled in two years, from 22 to 49 billion soms.
In 2025, 2.5 billion soms have been allocated for hemodialysis alone, compared to only 300 million soms in 2022.
By 2030, public funding for healthcare is planned to reach 130 billion soms.
Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that systematic work in the medical sector is aimed at improving the health of citizens, developing human capital, and ensuring sustainable future for the country. The healthier people there are in the country, the stronger the economy and the greater the development potential. May our children grow up healthy, and may every citizen of Kyrgyzstan live in peace, harmony, and prosperity, Kasymaliev remarked.
The new building of the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital will be an important link in the modernization of the country's medical infrastructure and will improve the conditions for treating children in accordance with modern standards.
Newly opened 100-bed building was constructed with the support of the Ilshat Charitable Foundation. Its total floor area is 3,647 square meters. The building is equipped with three pediatric departments, isolation and semi-isolation rooms with modern ventilation and air filtration systems, and state-of-the-art medical equipment.
