Council of Representatives Secretary General elected to Executive Committee of ASGP

Manama, Oct. 22 (BNA):  Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, Secretary General of the Council of Representatives and Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division, commended the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for Bahraini competencies and their encouragement to participate effectively in international forums, enhancing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s standing and highlighting its comprehensive development process achievements.

Al Buainain expressed pride in his election to the Executive Committee of the Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP), emphasising his commitment to represent the Kingdom honourably in this international role.  He said the achievement adds to the milestones of Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy and reflects the confidence of international parliamentary institutions in Bahrain and its representatives.

He noted that this success reflects the continuous support of Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division, and his efforts to ensure Bahrain’s active participation in regional and international parliamentary forums, exchange experiences, and benefit from best practices.

Al Buainain also commended the support of Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, the members of both councils, and the Secretary General of the Shura Council, whose cooperation contributed to this parliamentary achievement.

He highlighted that his election to the Executive Committee is a responsibility he will uphold with dedication and cooperation to serve the interests of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the work of the ASGP.
