Saudi International Rail Conference Concludes with over 20,000 Visitors

Riyadh, October 21, 2025, SPA -- The second edition of the Saudi International Rail Exhibition and Conference concluded yesterday in Riyadh. Held under the patronage of Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) Saleh Al-Jasser, the two-day event attracted over 20,000 visitors, as well as an elite group of local and international leaders, decision-makers, and experts.
Discussions centered on key global trends, challenges, opportunities, and the pivotal role of innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in advancing the railway sector.
The exhibition saw the signing of several agreements and contracts between local and international entities, covering service development, knowledge exchange, and technology localization within the railway sector.
SAR affirmed that the event's success reflects the Kingdom's growing international presence in the railway sector. It also embodies Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting regional and international integration, transferring knowledge, and boosting public and private sector partnerships.
