VinFast now has 24 operational dealerships in India

Hanoi, November 4 (VNA) - Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast Auto has accelerated its expansion in India with 24 operational dealerships across major cities, marking a major milestone in its mission to deliver electric mobility experience to Indian consumers.
The company is on track to achieve its target of 35 dealerships nationwide by the end of 2025, strengthening its presence in India.
The newly launched showrooms are spread across cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Surat, Pune, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Agra, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Baroda, and Rajkot, adhere to VinFast’s global retail standards. As per the company, each outlet combines contemporary design with immersive display areas, offering customers a seamless and transparent brand experience.
Speaking about the milestone, Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast India, stated that the strong interest in sustainable mobility in India was a key motivation for the company to continue setting higher standards. He noted that the rapid establishment of brand experience showrooms demonstrated VinFast’s long-term commitment to the Indian market. He added that the company did not only aim to sell electric vehicles but also sought to provide an inspiring, customer-focused journey grounded in sustainability and innovation.
In addition to expanding its retail network, VinFast is building a comprehensive EV ecosystem in India that integrates sales, charging infrastructure, and after-sales services. The company has forged strategic partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, Castrol India, and Global Assure to ensure robust nationwide support for charging, maintenance, and roadside assistance.
At the heart of VinFast’s India strategy is its manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Spanning 400 acres, the plant is designed to assemble the VF 6 and VF 7 in its first phase with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles per year, scalable to 1,50,000 units. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to generate 3,000–3,500 direct jobs and several thousand more indirectly through the supply chain, reinforcing Tamil Nadu’s position as a leading EV manufacturing hub in South Asia.
With production and retail expansion moving in tandem, VinFast is steadily strengthening its foundation in India’s EV market. The company’s goal of operationalising all 35 dealerships by this December underscores its determination to deliver accessible, reliable, and electric mobility solutions for Indian consumers, while contributing to the country’s broader clean mobility goals./
