Special VM2026 Stamps Highlight Malaysia's Iconic Landmarks And Heritage

KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 (Bernama) -- Pos Malaysia Berhad today launched special stamps in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign, featuring various iconic landmarks, cultural heritage, and natural treasures of the country to strengthen Malaysia's promotion as a world-class tourist destination.

The stamps themed "Malaysia, Truly Asia" feature famous tourist destinations including Langkawi in Kedah, Penang Hill in Penang, Cameron Highlands in Pahang, A'Famosa Fort in Melaka and the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia’s Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Chiew Choon Man said the launch of the special stamps is seen as a creative medium to introduce the country's culture, heritage, and tourist destinations, in addition to reflecting the spirit of unity and diversity that is the identity of Malaysia.

"I believe these special stamps will become an effective symbol in promoting Malaysia to international and domestic tourists," he said during his speech at the launch of the special stamps here on Monday.

Also present was Pos Malaysia Berhad Group chief marketing officer Fiona Liao.

Chiew said the success of the VM2026 campaign depends on the cooperation of all parties, including industry players, the private sector, and the Malaysian people, in ensuring the country remains a preferred tourist destination.

Meanwhile, Pos Malaysia also introduced the special VM2026 stamps at several selected post offices across the country to provide a more meaningful experience for visitors and stamp enthusiasts in conjunction with the tourism campaign.
