YoYi Malaysia Partners With TikTok Shop To Launch Self-collection Service
KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 (Bernama) -- YoYi Malaysia, a strategic parcel collection service partner of J&T Express Malaysia, has announced its collaboration with TikTok Shop Malaysia to pilot a self-collection service initiative in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang and Johor (west coast states in Malaysia).
With the aim of expanding the service nationwide in the near future, YoYi Malaysia manager Leo Wang said the collaboration supports ongoing efforts to enhance last-mile fulfilment efficiency and customer convenience.
"Self-Collection represents an important step forward in meeting evolving consumer expectations for greater convenience and autonomy, reflecting the company's long-term commitment to strengthening last-mile capabilities within the ecosystem," he said in a statement.
Wang added that YoYi Malaysia plans to expand its network to over 7,000 locations by the end of this year and increase its parcel locker deployment to more than 30 units, further strengthening its multi-tier last-mile delivery ecosystem.
According to the statement, the pilot service allows shoppers on TikTok Shop Malaysia to select a self-collection option at checkout, choose a nearby YoYi Malaysia or parcel locker, and receive pickup notifications upon parcel arrival, allowing them to enjoy lower delivery fees while enhancing last-mile delivery efficiency and flexibility.
As of today, it said YoYi Malaysia has established a nationwide network of approximately 3,000 Self-Collection Points, alongside 10 Parcel Locker units as part of its last-mile delivery ecosystem.
Moving forward, the statement noted that YoYi Malaysia and TikTok Shop Malaysia, together with ecosystem partners, will continue to refine the self-collection network and system capabilities, including expanding coverage, improving pickup efficiency, and enhancing digital user experience to support the evolving needs of the e-commerce logistics landscape.
