He emphasized his determination to take serious steps to strengthen cultural and popular exchanges between the two countries.
The civilization of the Iranian nation is the secret of their self-sacrifice in defending their homeland and achieving victory over the Israeli enemy, he stated.
The official lauded the international status of Iran’s cinema industry, and said that taking advantage of Iran’s experiences in film industry is an ideal opportunity for Pakistani filmmakers.
He referred to his recent meeting with Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Tehran, and said they had decided to form a joint working group.
Iran’s cinema is extremely advanced, and its productions are unparalleled, he stressed.
We will definitely use this opportunity and take practical steps for joint cooperation in producing films, series, and tourism documentaries, he stated.
We will never forget Iran’s assistance to the people of Pakistan during the two wars in the mid-1960s and 1970s, and that during the imposed war on Iran in the 1980s, Pakistanis did not leave their Iranian brothers and sisters alone, Khichi said.
