FM Araghchi urges expanded cooperation with Georgia in areas of mutual interest

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called for deeper engagement in areas of mutual interest between Iran and Georgia during his meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Georgia, Ali Moujani, on Saturday.

Highlighting the historical relations and long-standing ties between Iran and Georgia, Araghchi emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation and broadening bilateral interactions and consultations in all areas of mutual interest, within the framework of mutual respect and common interests.

During the meeting, Moujani briefed the foreign minister on the status of bilateral relations, initiatives undertaken, and plans to develop cooperation between Iran and Georgia.
