People Visit Revolutionary Battle Sites
Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- People in the DPRK visit the anti-Japanese war battle sites across the country.
Officials, working people, youth and students in Kangwon Province have visited the Ponghwajae Temporary Secret Base at the Wonsan City Revolutionary Battle Site every day.
Being briefed on the revolutionary battle site, the visitors deeply grasped the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung who led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to brilliant victory, and the essence of the idea and spirit that run through the revolutionary traditions of Paektu, the eternal lifeline and precious eternal treasure of the Korean revolution.
University students in South Hamgyong Province, including those of Hamhung University of Hydraulic Engineering, Hamhung University of Medicine and Hamhung University of Technology, toured the revolutionary battle sites in the Sinhung area.
Being briefed on the fact that the President came to this place several times and guided the activities of small units and groups of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and revolutionary organizations during the anti-Japanese armed struggle, they went round the venue of the Sambatsan Meeting and the Tongogol Secret Camp.
Officials of Party and power organs, working people, youth and students in Nampho and Kaesong municipalities visited the Kuksabong Revolutionary Battle Site and the Pakyon Revolutionary Battle Site.
They held meetings to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and contests of singing revolutionary songs in chorus while marching in array. -0-
