Working People's Organizations Publishing House Marks Its Founding Anniversary

Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- The Working People's Organizations Publishing House in the DPRK marked its 80th founding anniversary.
After national liberation, President Kim Il Sung gave detailed guidance to the founding of the organs of mass organizations and indicated the way to be followed by them at each stage of the developing revolution.
Chairman Kim Jong Il set February 9, 1946, when the "Workers' Newspaper" was founded, as the founding day of the publishing house, and led it to fulfill its mission as a powerful ideological weapon for making the working people's organizations the ranks of loyalty.
The publishing house is greeting a golden age of its development under the guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
As Kim Jong Un showed loving care and trust, solving the problems arising in making new innovations in publishing and editing and highly praising even small successes, the publishing house could display its might in educating the working people in a revolutionary way and arousing them to the implementation of the decisions of the Workers' Party of Korea.
A meeting to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the publishing house was held at the Central Hall of Workers on February 9.
Present there were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the WPK Central Committee, officials, journalists, editors and employees of the publishing house, and officials and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and the Socialist Women's Union of Korea in Pyongyang.
Kong Son Il, director and editor-in-chief of the publishing house, made a commemorative report. -0-
