Party Founding Museum
Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Many people have visited the Party Founding Museum in Central District, Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on the occasion of the 81st founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The museum is a significant place where President Kim Il Sung founded the Party and led the building of a new country to victory after the liberation of Korea (August 15, 1945).
Displayed at the museum are historic data and relics showing the feats performed by the President in building the Party, state and army.
The President proclaimed the founding of the WPK in the building on October 10, 1945.
With the founding of the Party, the Korean people could successfully carve out their destiny with their reliable vanguard unit and militant staff and since then a new history of building a revolutionary party in the era of independence has opened up.
On October 8, 2025, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Party Founding Museum on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK and made a significant speech there.
In his speech he clarified the position of the Party Founding Museum with the meaningful definition that it is the birthplace of the WPK and the sacred sanctuary which carries on the lineage of the WPK and the its ever-victorious traditions for all ages.
Going round the Party Founding Museum, the visitors are deeply grasping the immortal exploits of the President who set a brilliant example in building a revolutionary party and wisely led the struggle to enhance the leadership role of the Party.
Overseas Koreans and foreigners visited the museum and praised the exploits of the President for party building and the invincibility of the Party, expressing belief that the WPK would demonstrate its dignity and might as a glorious Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Party forever. -0-
