Meeting of Officials and Members of Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea Held

 Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- There took place a meeting of officials of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and agricultural workers on Wednesday to celebrate the 81st founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present there were officials concerned, officials of the Central Committee of the UAWK and union officials and members in Pyongyang.
Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the UAWK Central Committee, made a report to be followed by speeches.
The reporter and speakers said that President Kim Il Sung founded the immortal Juche idea and laid a solid organizational and ideological foundation for founding the Party in the flames of the anti-Japanese struggle and thus accomplished the historic cause of founding the Party after the liberation of the country.
Chairman Kim Jong Il further developed the WPK into an ideologically pure entity and an integral organization that achieved the unity of action, in which the ideological system and leadership system of the leader were firmly established, and into the motherly Party which formed a harmonious whole with the popular masses and served them, they said.
Thanks to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the WPK is now demonstrating its dignity and might as an invincible revolutionary party and a genuine party for the people which is firmly carrying forward its original idea and ever-victorious history, they stressed.
They called for more thoroughly establishing the monolithic leadership system of the Party Central Committee throughout the whole union as required by the times of comprehensive development and conducting ideological education in a positive way so as to prepare all the union members to be genuine rural revolutionaries and patriotic agricultural workers who are taking the lead in upholding the Party's programme for the rural revolution in the new era.
The reporter and speakers called upon all the officials of the union and agricultural workers to turn out in attaining the goal of grain production set forth by the Party with loyalty, patriotic strength and enthusiasm, true to the leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. -0-
