IMF expert hails Vietnam’s rapid economic recovery

Vietnam’s economy recovered rapidly in the first half of this year after a challenging period in late 2022 and early 2023, thanks to the government’s drastic actions. Paulo Medas, head of the International Monetary Fund’s 2024 Article IV Mission to Vietnam, has spoken to Vietnam News Agency’s correspondents in Washington D.C.

Ceramic turtle exhibition advocates for sea turtle conservation

To mark the World Sea Turtle Day (June 16), an exhibition was held recently in Hanoi to promote the conservation of sea turtles. Renowned visual artist Cao Thanh Tha crafted 1001 ceramic sea turtles for the display, each telling stories of sea turtle adventures, and highlighting Vietnam's efforts in conserving the animal.
