PM LEAVES FOR SAUDI ARABIA FOR FOUR-DAY VISIT
SEPANG, Jan 14 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has left for
Saudi Arabia for a four-day working visit to the country beginning Wednesday.
Accompanying the prime minister were International Trade and Industry
Minister Mustapa Mohamed, northern staate of Perak Chief Minister Dr Zambry
Abdul Kadir, east coast state of Pahang Chief Minister Adnan Yaakob and southern
state of Melaka Chief Minister Mohd Ali Rustam.
Najib's visit to Saudi Arabia is on the invitation of the Keeper of the Two
Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The prime is also scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Jan
17 to 19 in fullfilling an invitation to visit the UAE by Abu Dhabi's Crown
Prince Sheikh Mohamed Zayed Al Nahyan.
Thereafter, Najib will be making a working visit to India from Jan 19 to 23
at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
Najib's visits to the three countries are his first official visits to these
countries since taking over as Prime Minister of Malaysia.
